What is New to You?
New to You is a product catalogue displayed to a customer based on a set of pre-defined criteria and individual behaviour. Part of the 'Curate' suite and powered by Omneo Shapes New to You allows customers to pick up wherever they left off and to discover something fresh each time they come back to the brand.
How does New to You work?
Customisable per brand "New to you" operates on five levels of complexity, bringing variations of utility to the customer:
New to the brand
Often called "new in"
New since "X"
Includes a date selector, e.g. since last month or last three months.
New since last visit
"'X' new styles since your last visit."
Used in conjunction with the known customer details and product-specific attributes such as Viewed, Liked, Listed and Purchased (in the case of prompting for reviews/feedback)
'New to You' serves as a micro-catalogue which can be read/written via the Omneo API and clienteling or CX Manager.
When can a customer use New to You?
If a customer is logged in, their information can be displayed. Whether displayed on their homepage, in a sidebar on a product list page or in a customised view is up to the brand and their implementation partner.
Where can New to You be displayed?
Whenever and wherever a customer is interacting with their Omneo profile, the "New to you" product list will surface:
Why use New to You?
Why show customers items they have seen and classified already? Our research shows that engaged customers tend to revisit stores and catalogues periodically to see what's new. With "New to you" we shift away from the tired "most popular" logic and provide a unique and valuable customer experience each time they interact with your brand.
Are you thinking about implementing gamification into your Customer Onboarding flow? 'New to you' is the perfect jumping-off point, encouraging customers to finish their 'new to you' deck each time they shop.
Also in the 'Curate Suite' is Omneo List which allows customers and their agents to create and customise product catalogues as they see fit.
