How it works
Our integration with SFCC is bi-directional - data flows in both directions between the two products. That means that SFCC customer accounts sync with Omneo, customers can redeem Omneo incentives at checkout, and customers can view real-time profile information, preferences and rewards balances. All without leaving the native eCommerce environment. The integration also lays foundations for shared event data, product sentiment information and CSAT automation.
Use Omneo data in Salesforce Commerce Cloud
The Omneo SFCC Cartridge facilitates the core customer profile sync between the two products and also updates the checkout functionality to allow rewards to be redeemed as a special discount type.
The Omneo Shapes framework unlocks new omnichannel experiences that are more difficult to achieve within SFCC alone. Transaction history, whether from online or in-store, can be displayed back to customers. Customers can manage their own products lists that become available to store teams, replacing the default SFCC wish list functionality that is limited to online customers' only.
Use Salesforce data in Omneo
The Omneo SFCC Extension connects to the SFCC Open Commerce API (OCAPI) in order to read and display product info and images in other non-website experiences and push customer-specific attributes or actions back to SFCC to handle.
