What is Claim Transaction?
Claim Transaction allows customers to attribute transactions to their brand profiles retrospectively. Whether they forgot to log-in during an online order, didn't identify themselves in-store during a transaction or only recently joined the incentives program. Omneos Claim Transaction feature means that missed opportunities are not lost for good.
How does Claim Transaction work?
Customers can access the Claim Transaction function via their branded Profile Portal, or in-store staff can make claims on a customers behalf via Clienteling.
Claims can be made for purchases completed up to 7days (recommended) before joining a brands member program.
Claims are processed instantly; however, rewards and other incentives associated with a purchase will issue as per existing logic.
Incoming transactions are checked against existing claims to manage any transaction delays created by the POS platform.
Claims are accepted or denied in real-time as part of the interfaces verification process.
When can a customer Claim a Transaction?
Anytime after a purchase has taken place.
Customers or in-store staff can attribute past purchases to an individual profile to earn incentives and complete transaction history.
